What You’ll Do

Productable’s investment methodology leverages a blend of best practices from venture capital, management consulting, and design methodologies. We are looking for a Portfolio Lead to help us democratize and mature the innovation investment decision making process for our clients. This role will focus on refining the framework for investment, helping the client implement that framework successfully, and support building the product that ultimately scales the framework.

This role will primarily blend implementation efforts with our client, along with driving product roadmap direction with our product team. Additionally, this role will align with our Methodology and Product Support teams to ensure that investment strategies are in alignment to innovation efforts produced by the innovators who need resources.

  • Lead client relationship and ensure driving path to innovation success
  • Assess current state of innovation resourcing and decision making with Productable’s methodology
  • Prioritize gaps and challenges to overcome to drive success
  • Run prototype tests of improvements with live management of resources against projects
  • Continuously improve Productable’s portfolio methodology based on performance and feedback
  • Grow Portfolio model to a broader capability across multiple accounts and applications
  • Develop and grow the support model for this kind of effort at scale
  • Evolve effort into a business unit or evolve into many potential leadership roles based on your interests as business grows

What Experience You Need

  • Passion for the innovation challenges faced by large organizations
  • Deep perspective on what works/ what doesn’t work for innovation at scale
  • Love for helping innovators drive success as effectively as possible
  • 5+ years of experience driving outcomes with experiments and tests
  • 3-5+ years of client relationship management in project leadership or sales efforts
  • 10+ years of experience in your own mix of venture capital, corporate venture capital, management consulting, innovation management, corporate innovation, and/or product development
  • Experience working at a startup is a plus
  • U.S. Citizenship (required)
